Plans for the next 5 to 10 years
Within the next 5 years, I will graduate from college and begin my career as a full time web designer. I also plan to get involved in a ministry at a local church. Within 10 years, I hope to have settled firmly in my career as a designer/coder for an innovative web company.
During these 10 years, I would also like to take side courses and read about web techniques in order to stay ahead in the ever-changing web design field. Eventually, I would like to setup my own multimedia business.
Most satisfying accomplishments
As the project manager for my school's robotics team, I developed management and organizational skills by coordinating and directing the student lead team. My responsibilities included promoting unity, delegating tasks, and overseeing completion of projects. As the team's web designer, I won the Website Award at the Milwaukee regional competition.
During my senior year of high school I began freelance work as a web designer. Since then, I have developed relationships and built trust with a number of clients. Their satisfaction has led them to refer several other clients to me for web and graphic design work. Currently, I work on the web committee at John Brown University. As a part of this team, I update page content, work on design projects, and develop code.

About Me
I am a 20 year old college student web and graphic designer attending John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. I am majoring in Digital Media Arts with a focus directed towards Interactive Design.
I chose John Brown University primarily for its Digital Media Art major. In the design world, it is beneficial to have relevant experience in a variety of areas. The Digital Media Art major satisfies these needs by addressing the fields of typography, illustration, photography, cinema, and interactive/web design.
I have been designing websites for about 7 years. I spend much of my time researching and learning new techniques and coding languages. Web design fulfills my interests in technology and art. I have a strong passion for design and look forward to every project that comes my way.
Technical and Creative Skills
Nothing matches Adobe's design suite. This is why I have knowledge in each software application above along with some in Flash, Adobe Premier, Adobe Acrobat. I am also familiar with the areas of: XHTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, ASP, XML, and some Action Script.
